We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for one of our newer locations in the near South/Western metro area of the Twin Cities.
The DON must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) who is responsible for the overall direction of our home health clinical services. The DON will be responsible for the overall quality, adequacy of services provided and the supervision of staff. The right candidate will have the ability to establish, implement and evaluate goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the Qualicare standards of quality.
The DON assures that care is coordinated between services and that all
of the client?s needs are identified through the assessment process and addressed through the implementation of the Plan of Care and supervisory process.
The DON will be required to participate in local trade shows and conventions to assist with the marketing efforts to promote the Qualicare brand and services.
The DON will also be the Qualicare 360o Personal Case Manager which is our proprietary premium service that enables us to provide the highest form of homecare available. 360o Case Management provides families with a professional & comprehensive holistic approach to managing our family client?s needs.
Our unique service requires exceptional people, with the following minimum qualifications:

? Energetic person with a positive disposition, a strong commitment to collaborate with patients, their families, coworkers and the health care community at large.
? Must possess a love of interacting with people in an optimistic manner.
? Five years of healthcare experience with a BSN degree or five years of healthcare experience with at least two years in a supervisory role within the homecare industry.
? Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills.
? Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal & communications skills.
? Ability to remain calm and provide sound medical guidance in times of crisis
? Profound devotion to enhancing patients? and families? quality of life.
? Ability to travel locally on a daily basis including some weekends, nights & holidays to meet with patients and physicians.
? Occasional regional travel for Case Management training.
? Current unencumbered Minnesota RN License, clean background check, valid Minnesota Drivers License, proof of current auto insurance and reliable vehicle for transportation.
