Monkey and his brother Bear went to impound at a very young age. They were there for so long that they forgot how to be cats! Since they've been in foster care, they are learning to enjoy a larger and more open environment, playing with toys and with each other. Monkey is a moo kitty, with an adorable half bandit mask that says trouble! He is intelligent, outgoing and affectionate. He likes to give kisses when he hears the universal kissy noise and will gently wake up his foster mom if she tries to sleep in past breakfast. He is swift and athletic, and likes to jump and climb, bat at ping pong balls, and kill catnip toys. Monkey is a little afraid of wand toys so far. He favors toys that he can control, and has mastered the track ball tower. He will vocalize when he is looking for a playmate, and chatters excitedly when it is time to eat. He occasionally enjoys watching fish or other cats on a screen. The Planet Earth show will capture his attention. But he mostly prefers a perch in front of a window, from where he can comfortably judge the dogs and humans that pass by. Monkey is sweet and caring to his brother Bear. He will even nudge a toy in Bear's direction because he likes to share. Or they will team up to kill the toy, or play with it under a door as they sit opposite each other. Monkey and Bear are bonded and must be adopted as a pair. Together, these two brothers will steal your heart. They have distinct and complementary personalities and love each other very much!
Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
