Bear and his brother Monkey went to impound at a very young age. They were there for so long that they forgot how to be cats! Since they've been in foster care, they are learning to enjoy a larger and more open environment, playing with toys and with each other. Bear is a moo kitty with a beautiful symmetrical pattern on his head that makes a peace sign. He has a sweet and innocent face, but a black leg band that gives him street cred. He is shyer than Monkey, and likes to watch his brother try a new toy or experience before he will join. (Monkey will often share his toy with Bear.) He is slower to trust and needs gentle encouragement, but when he understands that he is safe, he will cuddle with you like a teddy bear and give you kisses just like his brother does. Bear was born with small cataracts in both eyes. He needs an ointment twice a week to dilate his pupils so that he can see around the cataract. It is easy and takes almost no time at all, and Bear loves his newfound visual acuity! He can truly keep up with his brother now as they chase each other around the house, finding long lost toys behind furniture and other hidden places, and playing hide and seek in the forts and tunnels that foster mom made out of the living room. Bear and Monkey are bonded and must be adopted as a pair. Together, these two brothers will steal your heart. They have distinct and complementary personalities and love each other very much!

Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
